Old Fashion Christmas

I love Christmas, I love the music the smells,"etc."As a child we did not have much, no big Christmas dinner, and we was lucky to get a gift..I remember each Christmas ! But we always had A Tree! When we lived in TX. It was an ceder tree while living in Fla. A pine ! They smell so nice! And my father cut them down..When I had children I was afraid that the lights would cause them to start a fire so I went with the "fake" ones.They are nice I like them...We can use them over and over!Well last year I bought one I been wanting for years!One that had lights already on it!I was so happy with it ! but while we was moving some of our Christmas "stuff" was lost, we could not replace our thee with a new one.So I went out and cut one !!Its not an real good one but it did remind of my child hood Christmas!! and my husband say"s it looks good to me! so ill leave it up.. So go back to the best years that you remember and have a great Christmas!!!

Easy Crafts..

I been searching, easy crafts for out side with things that "our" husbands don't use any more but , are stil in our yards like old tires..we can make nice planters out of them!I'll try them and post pic.and how to do them....

Planting Bulbs

My neighbor gave me "monkey grass" And they are bulbs, I use "post hole digers" to did the ,"any" holes to plant. The ground was and so hard. That it takes all day! and I'm wore out! While sleeping, "most" of my ideals come from dreams...I have a cordless drill and if I put a "paddle bit on it ..could it make it easer? Well I tryed it.. It works GREAT...The biger the bit the better!I planted 16 bulbs around one tree in about 10 min...

Work

Yesterday I worked in my home all day,been putting off some things like un packing boxes in the guest room

and trying to set it up! Think I did ok, still needs work ,then I started putting up rails around my porch.My husban said to me"dont know why you are doing that" I'll just have to take them down when I re do the porch! MEN !!Cant live with them &cant live with out them.....

Forgiveness

How much ,and what is the line that "we" can forgive ?Forgive our tress passers just what does that mean?Do we forgive all that has been wrong done to us? when do we "not" turn the other cheek,to stand up for the truth ,even if it could cost you ? When some one lies about you ,and is still is doing it over and over... what do you do to stop it?and still forgive?Or can you?

To day I worked on my home page ! What a time I had ,trying to understand it,and still cant get my pic. to load. I will keep trying,,,This "old" dog will learn how to do it.

K ...I'll try again, while sitting on my back porch, seeing the oak trees swaying in the wind ,soft and kind,and forgiving just living for each day,it put a Smile on my face. one that I lost so long ago. knowing that they had been through so much over the years, fire ,drought and floods ,and abuse! But they still stand so tall and so strong! Swaying in the wind,holding on! Yes that made me smile!Just seeing that took me back to days that I smiled ever day ,just watching my children..Over the years as they grew up "as I wanted them to do"to have family's of there own I got lost ,I could not see them each day,and guess I kinda lost my smile .But I know that I did not lose them just my self... But in the "oaks"I seen that there is life ,there is ALLWAYS something to Smile about, ect. A birthday that your child never forgets,the hug that she gives you and says "mom" I love you! "oh" yes A Smile is all we need ..........so each day even it's A bad day find that SMILE ....And soon Smiles will come to you , with out you even looking for them!
